If your purchase is larger than your balance, ask the cashier to swipe the Gift Card for the exact amount available on the card. Check your Gift Card balance here. Then pay the remaining balance with another form of payment. These are called “split transactions.” Some outlets may not allow cardholders to conduct split transactions.
There are no fees associated with these Gift Cards. You will only be charged the face value of the Gift Card and for Gift Cards purchased here.
No, the card cannot be used to apply a tip. Please use another form of payment.
Subject to the outlet’s return policy, the merchant may issue a store credit or allow a product exchange.
Gift Cards may not be used to purchase other Gift Cards. Gift Cards cannot be reloaded, resold, transferred for value, or redeemed for cash, except to the extent required by law. Void if reloaded, resold, transferred for value, or redeemed for cash. Unused Gift Cards may not be transferred. Not valid for gaming, advanced or online bookings / ticket purchases.
There is an expiry date on the back of each MGM Card; this is when the plastic expires. However, funds on your gift card never expire. If funds remain on the card after the expiration date, please call 877-596-2317 to have a replacement card issued and mailed to you at no cost. The balance on the replacement card will be equal to the balance on the expired card.
At this time, there are no advance or online bookings / ticket purchases that can be made with the Gift Card. However, the Gift Card is redeemable at participating locations at MGM Resorts destinations.
If you suspect that someone has copied, lost or stolen your Gift Card, contact Customer Support immediately at 877-596-2317 or visit Customer Support. Gift Cards will not be replaced if lost or stolen without card number and proof of purchase. Gift Cards have cash value and should be safeguarded accordingly.

The Gift Cards are not reloadable.
To check your Gift Card balance, call 877-596-2317 or visit Check Balance page. Please enter in your 16-digit Card Number, 3-digit CVV code and Valid Thru date located on the back of your card.
MGM Resorts eGift Cards must be added to a mobile wallet in order to redeem. Open the digital wallet on your mobile device and follow the steps to add a new credit card. Manually enter in the 16-digit Card Number, Expiry and CVV2. The eGift Card will then be stored in your device’s wallet and can be presented to the sales associate to redeem.
